Signs and Symptoms of Heart Attack

Heart Attack Signs & Symptoms

If you suspect someone is suffering a heart attack, you’ve got to respond.

Our training will teach you how to recognize these signs and symptoms, and know what to do specifically to save another’s life.

  • The American Heart Association wants us to lookout for people experiencing discomfort in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes, or that goes away and comes back. It can feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain.
  • Pressure, pain or discomfort in the back, the arms, the jaw or the neck may be present.
  • Shortness of breath is very common.
  • Nausea.
  • Sweat.
  • Lightheadedness.

Do not assume the best if you see these signs and symptoms. Assume the worst and call 911!

ProActive Safety CPR firmly believes the best training for adults is hands-on training. Every one of our classes gives participants adequate time practicing the skills they’d need to apply to save a life and rescue a coworker or loved one.
